The Tale Behind the Threads: This One Is a Lil Different!

Being called a daydreamer throughout my life, I’ve always believed that dreams are the one thing that keeps us moving through all the hurdles we face in our daily lives. To be honest, I’ve always been proud of being a dreamer too, because being a dreamer allows you to observe the world from a different perspective. While everyone else is seeing things with their eyes and living their lives the way they’re told, dreamers are the one-of-a-kind people who want to experience it from a different angle. It allows you to live life a lil differently!

Living a dreamer’s life isn’t as simple as you would expect, especially if you are a girl. Because as a typical Indian girl, almost all the people around you want you to follow certain criteria and rules to get into their good books, recognition, and approval. And the moment you want to live your life beyond that rule book and a lil differently, you suddenly become the rebellious Jhansi Rani in front of them.

Let me tell you a lil story so you understand this much better. During my childhood, I was someone who loved dressing nicely but never wanted to put in a lot of effort into styling or decorating my outfits. I wanted my clothes to be simple but not shiny, classy but not decorative. But most stores had bright, shiny, heavily decorated outfits – nothing that felt like ‘me’. And somewhere in that realisation, the idea of qe&sh quietly began to take shape.

Not Just a Dress – A Definition

Through qe&sh, I want our beautiful Indian girls to wear clothes that help them feel fresh, confident, and effortlessly beautiful – without overthinking their dressing. As they say, the best things in the world are not seen by the eyes but felt by the heart. I want all my girls to feel what they are wearing when they choose our collection. I want them to feel the effortlessness, to experience the joy of dressing beautifully, to have the courage to be who they are, and to be confident enough to express their fashion choices to the world. Join us in wearing what feels good and doing good, too.
